The research topics to be studied, discussed and debated are grouped into three categories, the first of which covers the theoretical and applicative aspects of modeling in general, while the last two categories focus on modeling in the fields of economics and management.

List of Topics:

  1. Modeling: theoretical and numerical aspects
    • Epistemological aspects of economic and econometric modelling.
    • Modeling and interdisciplinarity in social sciences and education.
    • Digitalization and simulation methods.
    • Static vs. dynamic aspects - Deterministic vs. stochastic aspects.
    • Econometric methods, time series and panel data.
  2. Modeling in economics & finance
    • General equilibrium and economic, fiscal, monetary and trade policies.
    • Macroeconomic forecasting.
    • Systemic risks.
    • Macro-finance (financial markets - asset prices - volatility, etc.).
    • Behavior of public actors and economic decision-making.
    • Behavior of micro-economic agents (companies, consumers, etc.).
    • Quantitative finance (investment portfolios - derivatives - financial risks, etc.).
    • Innovation, development and economic growth.
  3. Modeling in Management
    • Numerical simulation of management systems.
    • Supply chain management.
    • Optimization and decision-making in organizations.
    • Forecasting and risk management in organizations.
    • Governance and performance of organizations and territories.
    • Strategic and competitive behavior.

This list of research areas is not exhaustive, and is open to all proposals that could enrich the theme of the conference.

Après la conférence, le comité d’organisation procèdera à une sélection des meilleurs articles et les proposera pour publication à des revues scientifiques.

Papers written in English:

After the Conference, the Organizing Committee will make a selection of best papers written in English and propose them for publication in scientific journals.

Submission terms:

  • Interested authors are asked to send their paper intentions in the form of an abstract of no more than 5000 characters.
  • LAbstracts should include: title of paper, authors, problem, research methodology and main results.
  • For full papers: the first page should include: the title of the paper, the author's name, position, full contact details (business address, telephone, e-mail), the abstract (between 100 and 250 words).
  • Submissions may be written in either French or English, and should be a minimum of 5 pages and a maximum of 20 pages (formatted according to the required standards).
  • Abstracts (problematic, methodology and provisional results) should be presented (in French and English) in one page and should contain: title, name of author(s), institution or organization, e-mail address, telephone number and five key words.

Writing Standards:

In Word format, the article text must comply with the following editorial rules:

  • Headings and sub-headings: Times New Roman font; Bold style; 12 point size; 12 words maximum; Simple numbering: 1., 1.1., 1.1.1., etc.
  • Body text: Times New Roman font; Size 12; 1.5 line spacing; No paragraph spacing.
  • Page numbering: Footer; Centered.
  • Margins: 2.5 cm on each side (A4 format).
  • Headers and footers: None
  • Tables and figures: Numbered (Table no..., Figure no...) and presented with title and source.
  • Bibliographical references: At the end of the article and in 'APA' style.
  • Appendices, if any : Between the bibliography and the table of contents
